WELCOME TO THE VOLUME COMPETITION INFORMATION PAGE! PLEASE FIND YOUR CHILD’S TEAM AND READ THE INFORMATION BELOW.

Please read the information below. Mini dancers will learn many routines, but compete 2 dances at 2 different competitions.
Petite Dancers will learn many routines, but will only compete 2 dances at 3 different competitions. Coaches will let you know which routines will be competed prior to the competition.
Coaches: These are the coaches for each team.
Class meets: This is the class day and time for each team
Costume: It is important to write your child’s initials in EACH COSTUME piece as well as shoes. Also, have a special bag for hair pieces and tights. Young children should never put on their own competition costume.
Routine Information: Includes the name and style of each routine.
Shoes: SHOES ARE NOT PROVIDED and should be purchased by each child’s parent.
Hair: This is the hairstyle for each dance. It is understood that all hair types are different. In dance, EVERYTHING MUST LOOK THE SAME AND POINTS WILL BE DEDUCTED IF IT DOES NOT. THINK TEAM NOT INDIVIDUAL,
Headpiece: This important part of the costume is most commonly forgot. Please put your headpieces in a special bag and tuck them in your costume bag.
Tights: Each child will receive tights with their costume. Replacement tights are between $8-$10.
Competition earrings: Each child will receive one pair of competition earrings. Replacement earrings are $10.

Routine #1: Welcome to Trinidad
All members. Please purchase 1 pair of tan tap shoes.

Routine#2: Welcome to Chattanooga
All members. Please purchase 1 pair of nude jazz shoes.

Hair for both routines: High bun (please purchase a hair doughnut if needed). Please see photo of yellow dress.
Head piece: Any headpieces should be worn on the right side of the head.
Tights: Light suntan tights will be provided and that is the only color that should be worn for the competition.
Competition earrings: Competition earrings will be provided. Clip-ons are available per request.
Make up: Will be provided for you.
Competition Earrings: Please wear the competition earrings you received last year (or two years ago). If you need new earrings, please let us know. Clip ons are available upon request.

All members. Please purchase one pair of pastry shoes in the color BLACK. CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE.

Routine#2: Welcome to Wonka Ville (tap)—-
Kilyn, Moriah, Rose, Lavender, Madison, Alaina, Jordyn. BLACK MARY JANE Tap Shoes

Routine #3: Welcome to Hollywood (jazz)—
Jaye, Keira, Maya, Chloe, MiKenzie, Jorie, Peyton: Nude Jazz Shoes

Routine #4: Welcome to China (hip hop)
Your child will wear the pastry tennis shoes purchased for pom.

Hair:
Welcome to WonkaVille and Welcome to China: HIGH Bun (please purchase a hair doughnut or ponytail to wrap if needed).
Welcome to Hollywood and Welcome to Outer Space: Long straight HIGH pony tail on top of head (please purchase a piece if needed)
(buns should be full and thick)

Head piece: The jazz headpiece should be worn on the right side of the head. Hip Hop headpiece will be chopsticks and will placed on the outside of the bun. Hats for tap will need to have elastic sewn on by a parent or seamstress. There is no headpiece for pom.
Tights: Light suntan tights will be provided for jazz and that is the only color that should be worn for the competition.
Competition earrings: Please wear the competition earrings you received last year (or two years ago). If you need new earrings, please let us know. Clip-ons are available upon request.
Make up: Eye shadow and lip gloss will be provided for you. Please locate a BRIGHT RED blush that pops out on your child’s face.

Routine#2: Welcome to India (Jazz)
Charlese, Rachel, Jordyn, Miranda, Lindsay: one pair of NUDE LYRICAL Mesh Half Soles.

Routine #3: Welcome to Vegas (Tap)
JUNIOR and SENIOR dancers should purchase one pair of NUDE CHARACTER TAP SHOES.

Routine #4: Welcome to Berlin (Open)
JUNIOR and SENIOR dancers should purchase one pair of NUDE LYRICAL Mesh Half Soles.

Hair :

Tights: Nude fishnet tights will be provided for tap and should be the only color worn for competition. The other costumes have no tights. ABSOLUTELY NO UNDERWEAR CAN BE WORN FOR ANY OF THESE ROUTINES.

SPECIALTIES

Congratulations to the following students chosen for specialty routines. Students must be able to attend all team practices and additional classes associated with team AS WELL AS attend their specialty rehearsals. Students will hire and pay for a choreographer, but the choreographer MAY or MAY NOT be able to clean their routine weekly.
