CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Strengthening for Turns/Jumps: This class will help dancers strengthen and condition the muscles needed to achieve higher jumps and leaps with greater control and power as well as build the strength and technique required for more controlled turns, while also helping dancers increase the number of rotations.
Kinetoflex: Kinetoflex is a specialized dance strength and conditioning program, often branded as the "Ultimate Flexibility Bundle" and other skill-based courses. It focuses on improving dancers' technique through science-backed training for flexibility, turn-out, pirouettes, and strength, targeting improved mobility and injury prevention.
Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT): Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is a specialized training system designed by Marie Walton-Mahon to enhance dancers' technique by focusing on core strength, muscle memory, and alignment using stability balls, fusion balls, and resistance bands. It aids in injury prevention and improves stability and weight placement for dancers, skaters, and athletes. PBT is divided into 3 levels:
Sub Junior: a specialized,, low-impact program designed for young dancers (typically ages 6–10) to develop core stability, muscle memory, and safe alignment.
Junior: Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) Junior programs focus on developing muscle memory, core stability, and proper alignment for young dancers
Advanced: focuses on enhancing dancer performance through high-level neuromuscular training, deep core strength, and precise alignment. It includes challenging exercises like resistance band work, advanced core stability, and complex weight placement, designed to build endurance for senior and professional dancers.
Old School Dance Party: This is a dance class themed in old school 1980’s and 1990’s music. Great for exercise and cardio training! If we are gonna work, it may as well be fun!
Solos/Specialities Class: The class is a training class for the competitive students who would like to be chosen and begin training for a solo or specialty for the 2026/7 season.
Adult Dance Class (Stretch, Flexibility, and Basics): A class for adults covering ALL of the basics! Come stretch, strengthen your core, and learn some basic dance moves.
Pre Pointe: A class to prepare dancers for pointe.
Pointe: Ballet technique where dancers rise onto the tips of their toes in specialized shoes, creating an ethereal, floating effect
